New Beauty Product Loves

I wanted to share some beauty products that I've purchased over the past month or so that I'm currently loving.  I'm not typically one to re-purchase products often minus my mascara and foundation because I always want to try something new that I've seen other bloggers or you tubers recommend.  I hope that these recommendation and reviews will help you if you are in the market for some new products.

L'Oreal Blackbuster Eyeliner: This liquid liner goes on as easy as any I've ever used.  I find that it lasts a long time and the chubby tube makes it easy to get a good grip for a smooth glide along the eye.

Simple Cleansing Water: I had read some reviews from other bloggers on this, so I decided to try it myself.  I first use an Up & Up cleansing cloth to remove my make-up, especially my eye make-up and then I saturate a cotton pad with the cleansing water and finish cleansing my face.  I like the way it makes my face feel and I feel like it gets my face extra clean.

Simple 24 hr day/night cream:  I've never been one to use a lot of moisturizer on my face which I know is terrible, but I don't always feel like I need it.  After attending the contouring class back in February at Sephora I realized how much better my foundation applies if I moisturize prior to.  I decided to try the Simple brand after liking the cleansing water.  I like this moisturizer because I only need to apply it in the morning and my face feels great all day and night.

It Cosmetics Bye-Bye Pores powder: I'm constantly looking for something to minimize the pores on my cheeks and forehead.  I've tried all kinds of primers that claim to do it and they always fail me.  I've been happy with most of the It Cosmetics items that I've purchased, so I decided to grab this on a trip to Ulta.  I was sold after the first use.  I apply this after my foundation, concealer, and contour.  My pores literally disappear and it sets my foundation for the day.  This will be a definite re-purchase.

Anastasia Brow Wiz pencil: I feel like I look much better when I fill my brows in.  I've used a ton of things from powders to brown eyeliners to do this.  While this is much pricier than I prefer for something like this, I've found it's the easiest to apply and gives me the best brow fill and look.  I'm currently on my second pencil.

Urban Decay Naked lip gloss:  I first purchased this in the color Naked and quickly found that I was reaching for it over and over in my purse despite the other 20 tubes of lipgloss/lipstick in it.  I quickly used it up and went to re-purchase, but I decided to grab the Naked On the Run palette instead.  It came with a Naked gloss, and it's currently the most used in my bag.  It's a nice thick gloss that lasts a long time without being goopy and sticky.  It gives off really nice color.  Will always make sure I have one (or two) of these on hand at all times.

Urban Decay Lipstick: When I purchased the original Naked lip gloss I decided to try the lipstick as well.  I'm not much of a lipstick person as I prefer a more glossy finish.  After reading good reviews on this, I decided to purchase 2 colors because I couldn't make up my mind.  I got Naked2 and F-bomb.  The Naked2 is such a perfect nude (I do apply a gloss over it) and while I'm not one to wear bright red lips often, when I'm in the mood, F-bomb is a great bright red.  This lipstick goes on so nice and thick and I will say it may be the first lipstick I could wear without gloss.  Will for sure re-purchase.

Clinique Chubby Stick: I"ve tried a few of the crayon sticks from the drugstore and while I liked the color, the feel on my lips just wasn't that great and I felt like I had to double or triple apply to get the true color payoff.  With this chubby stick it goes on so smooth and the color is exactly what it's supposed to be on the first glide.  I will re-purchase this.

Maybelline Master concealer: This is one of the best concealers I've ever used.  It literally takes a dot as small as a pen tip to do both of my under eyes.  It's so thick and has the best coverage.  I will re-purchase this, but probably not any time soon as it takes so little to cover where I need.

Revlon Colorstay Eye Pen: I accidentally purchased this in a dark brown when I meant to grab a black.  I rarely wear anything but black eyeliner.  After letting it sit in my make-up case for a few weeks I decided to give it a try.  While I wish it was black, I love the way this applies.  The tip is so great and allows me to get a perfect winged look.  I will be re-purchasing this in black when my L'oreal chubby one runs out.  I have found in the past week I prefer this one.
